🔀 Random Order Generator
Shuffle any list into a random order. Pick who goes first, set a running order or randomise a playlist.
About this generator
Deciding who goes first, second and third can lead to an argument. This random order generator takes your list, shuffles it fairly, and gives you a numbered order. It is perfect for board games, presentations, speaking slots, turn-taking in class, chores and picking a running order for a show.
Enter one name or item per line and press Shuffle order. Each press gives a new fair order, with every arrangement equally likely. You can also use it to shuffle things other than names, such as a to-do list, a list of songs, or a set of restaurants to try.
Everything stays in your browser. Nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere.
